‘Baldur’s Gate 3’, ‘Final Fantasy 16’ & ‘The Witcher’ Actors Form Party For New D&D Web Series

A new Dungeons & Dragons 5E (D&D) play series is on the way, and it will take a star-studded cast out on a fantasy adventure. Titled Natural Six, the campaign brings together Doug Cockle — who plays Geralt from The Witcher series — Final Fantasy XVI‘s Ben Starr, the voice behind Clive Rosfield’ and the breathy sex scenes in Baldur’s Gate 3, as well as Alex Jordan, aka Mr Hands in Cyberpunk 2077‘s recent Phantom Liberty expansion.

Leading the party as its Dungeon Master (DM) is Harry McEntire, known for portraying Noah in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, alongside his appearances in FFXVI and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Gaming industry professionals Hollie Bennett and Eurogamer’s Aoife Wilson will also be joining in on the fun.

Natural Six introduces the world of Reliquiae (pronounced Rell-ick-uee-ayy), set in the wake of a conflict between the Virtuous, the good gods, and the Wild, the evil agent of chaos. After winning the war, the former created an enormous crater and ushered in an age of peace, but dangers like The Web — the nefarious organisation that the party’s characters hail from — still lurk in the shadows.

The other interesting feature is The Deck of Many Friends, which turns backers of Natural Six’s Kickstarter campaign into a character in the bespoke art style of Matt Zan. During critical moments in the story, they may even appear as cameo characters.

The D&D project will launch on 16 October on the crowdfunding platform, and is set to run across 10 episodes.
