As part of Consumer Expo Show (CES) 2025, ASUS has announced the expansion of its Copilot+ PC lineup, harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to amplify the Windows PC experience and empower more users to leverage the latest AI technologies.
For starters, the Vivobook and Zenbook laptop lineups are getting new models powered by Snapdragon X and X Elite processors, providing a leap in performance compared to their predecessors with up to 45 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) AI performance and increased battery life, among other improvements.
With the aim of being an affordable, accessible Copilot+ PC, the ASUS Vivobook 14 and 16 are built to be more productive while offering increased security. The upgraded Snapdragon X processor boasts up to a 44 per cent improvement in performance and double the battery life than before, making it an ideal system for multitasking and other heavy workloads.
Despite being powerful, the models remain lightweight and tough with their military-grade MIL-STD-810H durability, and pack in other impressive hardware under the hood such as 16GB of memory, 1TB of SSD storage and Dolby Atmos sound alongside its FHD IPS display.
Users can expect a suite of AI-enabled apps and features to assist in areas like productivity and security, such as StoryCube and Live Captions to enhance organisation and communication, alongside an AI camera, Microsoft Pluton security processor and Windows Hello to ensure personal data stays safe.
For an added touch of portability, the ASUS Vivobook S14 and S16 pack the same power offered by the Snapdragon X processor into a 1.59cm-thin chassis. Starting at 1.39kg, the laptops are an ideal companion for both work and play, delivering FHD OLED resolution or 2.5K IPS display options for a crisp viewing experience.
Touted as the world’s lightest Copilot+ PC, the ASUS Zenbook A14 weighs in at just under a kilogram, with its entire chassis being made out of Ceraluminum, the company’s proprietary anti-wear, scratch-resistant and smudge-free material, which is 30 per cent lighter than anodised aluminium.
Despite its reduced weight, the Zenbook A14 doesn’t sacrifice performance, offering Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X processor options to complement its on-device AI capabilities, topped off with a 32-hour battery life and a full array of I/O ports that ensure ultimate mobility, while also meeting the needs of the modern user.
Alongside the new additions, a host of ASUS Zenbook and Vivobook laptops are receiving a refresh in 2025, which will now incorporate the AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors to offer up to 50 TOPS AI performance, enabling a premium AI experience for a wider audience.
