The best and winning design will be transformed into an actual model for the LEGO Friends line, even better, it will be sold at Toys R Us stores all over the world! Not only that, the winning designer will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the LEGO HQ in Billund, Denmark, and join in the design process of their own playset!

Running from today until February 28th, 2017, here is what is expected from your star designer.

Introduced in 2012, the LEGO Friends is a product range designed primarily for girls. Its theme is centered on the everyday lives and personalities of five best friends in a fictional hometown called Heartlake City. Each of the friends—Olivia, Mia, Andrea, Stephanie and Emma—has distinct personalities and interests, such as animals, performing arts, invention and design, that are reflected in the models.

So here’s the challenge: Encourage and inspire your child to add unique touches to the iconic Heartlake City by designing the next hangout place that your child would like to share the friendship moments with best friends!

Simply follow these three easy steps to enter – upload four pictures of the designed model showing from four angles, give it a creative title and include a short description to explain the inspiration behind the creation. All entries must be submitted by the child’s parent on Facebook via the LEGO Facebook application available on LEGO.build/FriendsDesigner before the February 28th deadline.

There will also be a one-day workshop held at Toys R Us, VivoCity, on January 21st to teach your child the process of creating their own creative masterpieces from an experienced LEGO builder. Why wait, start now and help foster your child’s creativity today!
