Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference Set For Week Of 9 June 2025

Apple has announced the return of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which is taking place from 9 to 13 June this year, comprising free online and in-person events for developers and students.

Cementing Apple’s commitment to supporting developers, WWDC25 is set to not only spotlight the company’s latest advancements but will also provide attendees with insights from Apple experts regarding the newest tools, frameworks and features on offer.

In addition, Apple will also host an on-site event at the Apple Park, California, on 9 June to commemorate the start of WWDC, allowing developers and Swift Student Challenge winners (from 2023 to 2025) the opportunity to not only the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union, but to also meet with Apple experts for one-on-one or group workshops, and take part in various activities.

“We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community,” said Apple Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, Susan Prescott. “We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”

Developers and students will be able to tune in and experience WWDC25 virtually via its Keynote or throughout the week of 9 June on the Apple Developer app, website or YouTube channel. Those keen to attend the event’s opening in person may also apply via the WWDC25 website from now until 2 April at 11:59 pm PT (3 April 2:59 pm SGT).

In addition, Apple will also be selecting the winners of this year’s Swift Student Challenge, its initiative to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs, coders, and designers, with applicants being notified of their status on 27 March. Winners will not only be eligible to apply for WWDC25’s on-site event at Apple Park, but an additional 50 Distinguished Winners will also be invited to Cupertino, California, for a three-day experience.

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference will take place from 9 to 13 June 2025, with more information to come ahead of the event via the Apple Developer app and WWDC25 website.
