Holiday festivities are a tradition as December rolls around, but so are year-in-review features for the year. Apple Music has unveiled Replay ’25, its answer to the popular Spotify Wrapped feature, allowing users to view their top songs, artists, and albums streamed natively within the app, which marks a change from previous iterations.

Additionally, more listening habits are now available for viewing, including the “Discovery” tab that highlights new artists listened to, “Loyalty”, which lists the artists subscribers have returned to time and time again, and “Comeback,” spotlighting those who have re-entered their rotation. These new metrics join existing insights such as total listening time, the number of artists checked out, longest artist streak, favourite genres, and more.
Apple Music subscribers can also revisit their monthly Replay highlights and track their yearly summaries, with new stats like listening growth and year-over-year performance summaries introduced for artists.
The overall chart-topper this year was “Apt.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars, followed by “Luther” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA; “Die with a Smile” by Lady Gaga and Mars; “Not Like Us” by Lamar; and “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish. Two of the songs are ranked within the top five on the Singapore charts, as listed below:
- “APT.” by ROSÉ & Bruno Mars

To nobody’s surprise, KPop Demon Hunters had a strong showing on the year-end wrap-up, both locally and across the globe. Breakout hit “Golden”, featuring the voices of singers EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, spent 70 consecutive days atop Apple Music’s daily top 100 chart and notched the highest ranking of No. 15 in the top global song category.
It proved highly popular among listeners in Singapore at No. 4, aligning with mainstream tastes that skew more toward K-pop than other parts of the world – alongside “Golden”, there are three more entries from the genre: “Who” by BTS member Jimin, “like JENNIE” by Blackpink’s Jennie, and fellow KPop Demon Hunters counterpart Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop”. Girl group Aespa was the only K-pop group to book a spot in the global top 100, with “Whiplash” landing at No. 33.
