Homegrown Singaporean PC manufacturer Aftershock is renowned for making high-performance gaming laptops at considerable prices. They have also gone above any beyond with super-slim entries such as the Slate series, and super-charged ones such as the Nova series.
This time, they’re reaching out to a more affordable demographic with their new Forge 15 series gaming laptops.
There are two models in this new series: the standard Forge 15, which will retail from S$1,141; and the Forge 15 Pro which goes from S$1,851 onwards.
Now, while it is true that Aftershock already has the MX series as a budget option for gamers, the Forge 15 series comes packed with superior components all around that make it even more attractive than its 2018 predecessor.
Boasting the Intel 9th-gen i7 9750H CPUs, as well as the NVIDIA RTX 20 series GPUs that, when combined with the sexy sub-$2,000 pricing, make the Forge 15 and Forge 15 Pro serious contenders for your new choice gaming laptop.
To complement such graphical and processing power, the Forge 15 series is also equipped with stellar visual options packed nicely into their signature 15.6-inch slim bezel display.
The base Forge 15 alone has the option of being equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate display that is already a tier above its 60Hz competitors. The Pro variant can be kitted with an almost monitor-grade 240Hz Wide colour gamut to keep you engaged with all the action on your screen without ever missing a beat.
