After a wave of casting announcements, it looks like Legendary’s Street Fighter film is in full production swing, as set photos have surfaced offering our first peek at wrestler Cody Rhodes’ Guile and Noah Centineo’s (Warfare) Ken in costume.
The first tease comes from comedian Andrew Schulz, who posted an Instagram story image of Rhodes in costume. Although the story is no longer available, it has been reposted online by other Instagram pages, such as WrestlePurists, and features a brief look at Rhode’s camouflage pants and jacket costume, although the more interesting part of the image is his shadow, where it clearly shows the character’s iconic flat top hair, a detail that was previously omitted from Jean-Claude Van Damme’s portrayal in the original 1994 film.
Meanwhile, Centineo was also spotted in what appeared to be a set photo taken at the beach, sporting long blonde hair to match Ken Masters’ signature look, although the actor was not wearing his iconic red gi, so it’s unclear if the character would feature a more modernised outfit in the film.

These are just two characters in the film’s stacked cast, with more set images of the other characters likely to follow as the film continues production. Street Fighter’s roster will also include Andrew Koji’s (Bullet Train) Ryu, Jason Momoa’s (Aquaman) Blanka, Callina Liang’s (Tell me Everything) Chun-Li, rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s Balrog, David Dastmalchian’s (Late Night with the Devil) M. Bison, Vidyut Jammwal’s (Commando) Dhalsim and Japanese wrestler Hirooki Goto’s E. Honda.
Based on Capcom’s iconic fighting game franchise, the Street Fighter movie was originally set for release on 20 March 2026, but has now been delayed indefinitely, although with these new set photos, hopes are that the movie is in full production, and that fans will receive a firm release date soon.
