‘Bad Boys’ Michael Bay And Will Smith Reunite For Netflix’s ‘Fast And Loose’

Michael Bay and Will Smith are set to see a reunion, almost 30 years after 1995’s Bad Boys was released. The duo are currently in talks for Netflix’s action title Fast and Loose, with the former directing and Smith set to star.

Fast and Loose follows the story of a man who wakes up in Tijuana with no memories. As he pieces together his past, he soon learns that he has been living a double life, one as a crime kingpin and another as an undercover CIA agent.

The film is written by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, Chris Bremner and Eric Pearson. Smith, Kelly McCormick and David Leitch will produce, with Robert Simonds, Noah Fogelson and Barry Waldman serving as executive producers.

Bay and Smith first worked together on Bad Boys, which was the former’s feature directorial debut. The commercial success of the film led to three sequels: Bad Boys II (which Bay also directed), Bad Boys for Life, and Bad Boys: Ride or Die.

Bay is currently developing the internet meme Skibidi Toilet for film and TV, while Smith is set to appear in Sony Pictures’ Resistor, a sci-fi thriller based on Daniel Suarez’s 2014 novel Influx.
