It’s about time we got word of the next installment of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy. The new trailer for Season 2 of the show reveals that it will return on 31 July. And given the current global situation, what better way to do so than to recreate one of the most iconic scenes of the first season?
Typical trailers would reveal teaser footage of what’s to come, but instead we’re treated to all the actors who played the Hargreaves kids showing off their slick dance moves to the tune of Tiffany’s “I Think We’re Alone Now”, replicating the very same scene back in the pilot episode, almost shot for shot, all in their own jammies.
It’s really well done, and while it still means we’re still in the dark about what might happen in The Umbrella Academy Season 2, it doesn’t really matter given how close we are to the release date already. It’s only a matter of time before Netflix releases another trailer anyway.
