When you’re born and raised in a cultural melting pot like Singapore, you can’t not feel like you’ve been raised by more than one culture. Such is the case with Singapore-born beer brand Tiger Beer, who has released a limited-edition selection of bottles celebrating twenty districts in the Little Red Dot.
While the beer is just your regular Tiger Beer, what makes these bottles special is that they come with designs that best depict a particular district in Singapore, and the landmark that best represents that district.
For that reason alone, they are worthwhile collectors’ items, while still being a refreshing beverage for your next party or gathering.
While the collection we received wasn’t the full suite, here’s a list of the 20 districts in Singapore that were depicted:
- Ang Mo Kio
- Balestier
- Bedok
- Bishan
- Bugis
- Bukit Batok
- Chinatown
- Holland Village
- Jurong
- Kallang
- Katong
- Punggol
- Queenstown
- Sembawang
- Serangoon
- Tampines
- Tanjong Pagar
- Tiong Bahru
- Toa Payoh
- Yishun
The limited-edition Tiger Beer district bottles are available now across all major supermarkets, bars, pubs, hawker centres, and online stores such as Lazada, while stocks last. They will typically be sold in 6-packs at S$19 each, or in four 6-packs at S$79 each.
Marion has a serious RPG addiction. Sometimes it bleeds into real life; he forgets to sleep because he thinks he has a Witcher’s body clock. Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
