Xiaomi Launches 200MP 12T Phone, Redmi Pad, Q2 Series TVs & More For Smarter, Cleaner Homes

Xiaomi is making moments mega! The tech company has launched several new AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) products today ranging from entertainment devices to home and living products that make one’s humble abode smarter.

That said, this year’s lineup includes Xiaomi’s much-awaited flagship phones, new vacuums, a lineup of TVs, a smartwatch and a tablet that promises endless fun. There’s plenty to look forward to so let’s get into each of the products announced:


#1. Xiaomi 12T Series Flagship Phones

The Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro are the company’s latest flagship phones. The 12T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra chipset and features a triple camera array: 108MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro camera. As for the 12T Pro, users can expect the latest Snapdragon processor with 4nm TSMC manufacturing process. The 12T Pro model also boasts a pro-grade 200MP imaging system with in-sensor 2x zoom and 8K video in full resolution.

Both the phones in the 12T Series have a 5,000mAh battery and feature 120W HyperCharge. They come with a 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display and 1220p resolution. Check out more on the 12T series here.


#2. Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X10+ (AIoT)

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X10+ is the latest in Xiaomi’s robot vacuum lineup. The X10+ can empty trash in its dustbin, clean mop pads, refill the water tank, keep its mopping cloth moist, and self-dry to avoid moisture retention and odours when the machine is not in use. The X10+ vacuum is said to work on every floor type, including carpets, and has dual spinning mop pads that can remove stubborn floor stains.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X10+ is powered by the S-Cross AI system so it can automatically avoid objects in its cleaning path on its own. It also comes with a dual-line laser, an RGB camera for target detection and LDS navigation. Plus, the machine is TUV Rheinland-certified so users’ privacy will not be breached.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X10+ is priced at S$1,299 and will be available soon.


#3. Xiaomi Truclean W10 Wet Dry Vacuum Series (AIoT)

The Xiaomi Truclean W10 Wet Dry Vacuum Series is the brand’s first-ever wet dry vacuum lineup. The series comes with two handheld models – Xiaomi Truclean W10 Ultra Wet Dry Vacuum and Xiaomi Truclean W10 Pro Wet Dry Vacuum – and can perform vacuuming, mopping and scrubbing.

The Truclean W10 Ultra Wet Dry Vacuum is equipped with a 75°C2 high-temperature cleaning mode and can self-clean, refill with water, and dry itself automatically with an all-in-one smart base station. As for the Xiaomi Truclean W10 Pro Wet Dry Vacuum, it comes with a tangle-free roller brush that can cover larger spaces and has a 90-degree adjustable handle that helps clean below most furniture.

The Xiaomi Truclean W10 Ultra Wet Dry Vacuum and Xiaomi Truclean W10 Pro Wet Dry Vacuum are priced at S$1,299 and S$899 respectively and will be available soon.


#4. Xiaomi TV Q2 Series (AIoT)

The new Xiaomi TV Q2 series features the latest Quantum Dot Display technology and comes in three sizes. The 4K Ultra-HD TVs in this lineup is equipped with Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos and can adjust the brightness of the screen depending on the environment. It comes with an in-built Google TV system – a first for the Xiaomi TV series – and has Google assistant as well as the Xiaomi TV+ app pre-installed.


#5. Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro (AIoT)

The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro is the brand’s latest smartwatch, with a 1.64-inch AMOLED screen that auto brightens itself when necessary. It has over 110 sports modes and can monitor users’ sleep. New to the brand’s smart band series is the GNSS system, which allows for more accurate route tracking and faster positioning. The device features a 5ATM resistance and a battery life topping up to 12 days.

As for aesthetics, the Smart Band 7 Pro has 150 in-app watch faces, 2 band colours and 8 different strap options. The Smart Band 7 Pro is priced at S$129 and will be available from 5 October onwards.


#6. Redmi Pad (AIoT)

The new 10.61-inch Redmi Pad boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and Dolby Atmos. It also comes with an 8MP 105° ultra-wide front camera and FocusFrame technology. It is the first tablet to receive SGS low visual footage certification and is accredited with low light certification by TÜV Rheinland.

With a long-lasting 8,000mAh battery and equipped with a 22.5W in-box charger supporting 18W fast charging, Redmi Pad ensures endless fun for marathon gaming, movie watching or even hours-long photo shooting. The Redmi Pad is priced at S$369 (6GB+128GB). More details on its availability will be shared at a later date.
