Xiaomi’s Latest Mi 11 Flagship Comes With Snapdragon 888, 120Hz Display & 108MP Camera

Xiaomi has finally launched their latest flagship model the Mi 11 in its already substantial Mi smartphone lineup for the global markets.

With several compelling improvements, the Mi 11 is definitely an impressive handset that succeeds its predecessor and contests its current rivals like the Samsung Galaxy S21.

Running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, 108MP triple rear camera, cinematic audio, 50W wireless charging, a 4,600 mAh battery, and two colorways Midnight Gray/Horizon Blue, the Mi 11 already looks impressive on the get-go.

With a 120Hz 6.81″ AMOLED DotDisplay and SOUND BY Harman Kardon, Xiaomi is banking on the Mi 11 as a pocket-sized creative movie studio allowing both casual or enthusiasts of videography and photography to utilize its full potential in capturing crystal-clear images without a professional-grade DSLR or mirrorless camera.

Many more features like its 13MP ultra-wide-angle and 5MP telemacro lens allow users to take beautiful landscape and bokeh shots. The night mode will be available on all three of its camera, the primary, ultra-wide, and front. Another interesting thing that spotlights the phone is all the new modes the camera comes with for videography, including the Parallel World, Free Frame Video, and Magic Zoom mode.

Mi 11 is the first phone to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, a cutting-edge technology that redefines premium processing standards that cements both AI technology and lighting fast 5G connectivity together. It is definitely way more impressive and efficient than the Snapdragon 865.

Screen gestures and tasks will be smoother with its MIUI 12.5 system, reducing CPU usage by up to 22% and power consumption by up to 15%, preventing overloading of tasks, and ensuring ultra-smooth performance.

The Mi 11 comes in two store variants of 8GB + 125 GB and 8GB + 256GB with enhanced LPDDR5 3200MHz RAM + UFS 3.1 storage.

It is currently priced at €749 (S$1,203) but local pricing and availability will only be announced at a later date.
