Actor Justin H. Min who played Ben Hargreeves later followed up with a heartfelt message saying goodbye to his costume, hinting that the fan-favourite Hargreeves sibling will finally be seen wearing something new in the coming season.

“Can’t wait to get back to toronto and freeze to death. jk. i’ve already died twice. season 3, here we come,” wrote Min.

Production on the 10-episode third season will begin in February 2021 in Toronto and will see the return of regulars Ellen Page, Tom Hooper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore reprising their roles.

Returning to the set of The Umbrella Academy is Executive producer and showrunner Steve Blackman too.

Whilst there is no plot or release date revealed yet, season two looks at the Hargreeves siblings scattered across a messy timeline in 1960s America after destroying the world in season one. Five messes with timelines again to reunite the reluctant The Umbrella Academy once again to stop another apocalypse from happening.
