The New S$868 Surface Laptop Go Is Here To Challenge The MacBook Air

You may already be more than familiar with Microsoft’s lineup of Surface laptops, with devices like the Surface Laptop 3 and the Surface Pro 6. Now Microsoft is back with its brand new Microsoft Surface Laptop Go.

The Surface Laptop Go features a 12.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen display (1536 x 1024 resolution) with an aluminium display lid and polycarbonate base, available in Platinum colour. Not only is it nice to look at and easy on your wallet, the Surface Laptop Go is also incredibly lightweight and portable, weighing in at only 1.1kg, meaning you can easily carry it around without straining your shoulders.

Aside from its display, the laptop also comes with a large precision trackpad and full-size keyboard with 1.3mm key travel for an ergonomic and comfortable typing experience. Select models of the Surface Laptop Go will also come with a Fingerprint Power Button with One Touch sign-in with Windows Hello. This allows users to quickly and securely access their OneDrive Personal Vault files without having to worry about privacy issues, and also so users will be able to quickly sign into their laptops and be productive for the day.

All this is powered by the Intel’s 10th generation i5 quad-core processor and Intel’s UHD Graphics card, with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Surface Laptop Go will also come with up to 13 hours of battery life to ensure users will be able to comfortably use the laptop on the go without having to worry about bringing an additional charging brick. Furthermore, the Surface Laptop Go also supports fast charging, so users will be able to get 80% of battery in just a little over one hour of charge.

As for connectivity, the Surface Laptop Go comes with a sizeable selection of ports that are well-suited to external connections without the need of an additional adaptor, which is not often seen in a laptop of its size and price.
