Amazon’s ‘The Legend Of Vox Machina’ Goes To Hell (Literally) For Season 3

The Legend of Vox Machina season 3 is set to bring more dark adventures for its beloved characters, as evidenced by its thrilling first trailer. Set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video, the new season promises an intense continuation of the group’s battle against formidable foes, particularly the Cinder King Thordak and the remaining dragons of the Chroma Conclave.

The trailer opens with a chilling insight from Percy, noting “The future is frightening… It’s a future which hasn’t yet been written.” This foreboding message sets the tone for a season that will test the heroes of Exandria like never before. As the group confronts the destructive path of the Chroma Conclave, their journey takes them to hellish depths and beyond in an effort to thwart their enemies and protect their world.

In the gripping preview, viewers catch glimpses of high-stakes action and dire circumstances, including elder Keyleth’s despair in front of a mausoleum featuring the faces of all Vox Machina members except her own. This haunting image foreshadows the potential doom they may face as the narrative unfolds. The urgency of their mission is clear: to rise above their demons and safeguard their loved ones and the land of Tal’Dorei.

Season 3 will consist of 12 episodes in total, with three episodes released weekly over four weeks. With everything at stake, the members of Vox Machina must confront inner and outer demons in what promises to be their most challenging encounters yet.

Despite the grim outlook, the trailer also showcases the series’ characteristic humour and camaraderie, with the team engaging in daring escapades and facing off against demonic foes and perilous traps. The season’s animation, crafted by Titmouse, is underscored by a powerful soundtrack from AWOLNATION, enhancing the epic and chaotic battle scenes that fans can anticipate.
