‘The Devil in Me’ Arrives This November As ‘The Dark Pictures Anthology’ Season Finale

Supermassive Games is continuing its fine run of horror adventures following the success of both The Quarry and House of Ashes with the reveal of the finale of the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology. This November, The Devil In Me will once again invite players on a death-filled romp with a new cast and a terrifying story.

The new trailer for the game gives us quite a good idea of what awaits the unfortunate Lonnit Entertainment TV crew. Receiving a pressing and mysterious phone call from a man called Granthem Du’Met, a promise of a tour around a faithful recreation of the H. H. Holmes murder castle leads the crew to a fateful night at the mercy of a madman.

Observed, isolated, and manipulated like rats in a maze, it soon becomes clear that the crew’s checkout is compromised, and they will have to make some impossible choices that they might live to regret or just not live at all.

Similar to the other games so far in The Dark Pictures Anthology, The Devil in Me packs some star power in the form of Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley.

This will be the fourth game that ends the first season of the series, starting with Man of Medan back in 2019, with a new entry every year. The series is planned to consist of eight games, so it is likely we will see more from Supermassive Games in the coming years.

No release date for The Devil in Me has been set just yet, but it should make for a fun time come the end of the year.
