‘The Boys’ Spin-Off ‘Vought Rising’ Prequel Led By Soldier Boy And Stormfront

The Boys are back. Or well, going back in time. The hit show from Amazon Prime Video is getting an exciting new prequel, revealed at San Diego Comic-con: Vought Rising.

The show is set to star Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash reprising their roles as Soldier Boy and Stormfront. Announced during Prime Video’s Comic-Con panel, this new series promises to delve deep into the origins of Vought International, the company responsible for creating Supes.

Set in the 1950s, Vought Rising explores the humble yet sinister beginnings of Vought. Ackles and Cash will take audiences back to a time before The Seven, unveiling the early experiments and dark secrets that laid the groundwork for the super-powered chaos seen in The Boys.

Jensen Ackles received thunderous applause as he appeared onstage at Hall H to announce the series, while Aya Cash joined via video message. The prequel will join other series in The Boys’ universe, including Gen V and the animated The Boys Presents: Diabolical.

The Comic-Con panel, moderated by guest star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, also celebrated the success of The Boys’ fourth season. With a musical medley from Vought’s ice musical ‘Let’s Put the Christ Back in Christmas‘ and a rap performance by A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), the event was a hit. The panel included creator Eric Kripke and cast members discussing the latest season’s shocking moments and teasing what’s to come.

With The Boys set to conclude after season five, Vought Rising offers fans a new chapter to explore.
