TGA 2022: Kevin Conroy Voices Batman Once More In ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’

The loss of Kevin Conroy, an industry legend that has blessed us with his acting over the years, continues to sting, but at The Game Awards 2022, the latest trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League paid tribute to the esteemed icon, together with a release date for the Rocksteady Studios’ project.

The trailer opens up with the silhouette of the Caped Crusader, Batman, just as the Suicide Squad gets into gear, torturing the Flash. However, that obviously doesn’t stand well with the Dark Knight, and he starts unleashing fear throughout the anti-heroes. In the end, as Batman reveals himself, the lights go out. Cue chills.

Just before the trailer ends, the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League trailer ends with the poignant message, “Thank You Kevin,” which is just perfect, as Conroy will be voicing Batman in the game as probably the last time we will hear his performance following his passing on 10 November due to cancer.

In addition, we also got a proper release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is set to arrive on 26 May in 2023. The game will feature an open world with co-op action, as players take on the roles of Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang.
