While we’ve already seen the more affordable toys from Playmates, these figures from Tamashii Nations are the must-buy for bigger…kids.
As seen from the cover image, it seems that if you mind can think of a scene, these S.H. Monsterarts’ Godzilla vs. Kong Figures can recreate it. From what we can see, these figures are packed with articulation and allow of realistic poses.
If you’ve ever wondered how Kong might look like bodyslamming Godzilla, here’s your chance.
Measuring in at 6-inches, Godzilla looks exactly as we see him in the trailers and it comes with an addition pair of hands to help aid grappling positions.
It’s sculpted by Yuji Sakai, who been involved with Godzilla’s designs since 1995.
Compared to Godzilla, Kong seems to get much more love. After all he gets 3x pairs of optional hands, an optional head, and an axe.
We’ve seen the axe quite a bit in the trailer and this is our best look yet with the blade fashioned out of Godzilla’s spines.
Measuring in at 5.7 inches, Kong is sculpted and colored by animal sculptor Shinzen Takeuchi.
Each figure is priced in at USD$68 and are available for preorder right now. These figures will arrive sometime in July 2021 way after the movie hits the cinemas and HBO MAX.
Gerald currently straddles between his love of video games and board gaming. There’s nothing that interests him more than trying out the newest and fanciest gadget in town as well. He dreams of publishing a board game sometime in the future!
