This fresh anthology spotlights two characters: Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto), first introduced in The Mandalorian and further explored in Ahsoka, a young warrior seeking vengeance in the Empire’s expanding realm; and former Jedi Barriss Offee (Meredith Salenger), a more significant player in The Clone Wars after a brief appearance in Attack of the Clones. Set against the backdrop of different eras, their choices will shape their fates.

The series promises encounters with iconic characters such as Grand Admiral Thrawn, General Grievous, Darth Vader, and the Grand Inquisitor, enriching the narrative with their presence. The voice cast boasts talents like Rya Kihlstedt, Wing T. Chao, Lars Mikkelsen, Jason Isaacs, and Matthew Wood, adding depth to the Empire’s story.

Dave Filoni, the creative force behind Ahsoka and now Lucasfilm’s Chief Creative Officer, leads this project as creator, supervising director, and executive producer. His vision for Star Wars: Tales of the Empire offers a unique perspective on the Galactic Empire’s tales, following warriors Morgan Elsbeth and Barriss Offee through their personal and epoch-defining journeys.
