In the latest Nintendo Direct, Square Enix dropped a trailer for their brand-new game Project Triangle Strategy (currently a working title, thank goodness).
The new RPG seems to follow in the footsteps of Square Enix’s “HD-2D” classic game Octopath Traveler, mixing old-school sprites and HD environments. It follows along with tactical grid movements and positions and will feature plenty of “choices and consequences” according to the Square Enix.
A demo which is available for download on the eShop was released together with the trailer and has garnered pretty good responses so far.
Project Triangle Strategy is currently being developed by Square Enix and will be released in 2022 on the Nintendo Switch.
