A certain wall-crawler will make his way to the Little Red Dot very soon. Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man will be making an appearance at Changi Airport, Singapore for the June holidays.

From May 31 – July 14, 2019, there will be an exhibition to promote the final movie of Marvel Studios’ storied Phase Three — Spider-Man: Far From Home. As the hype from Avengers: Endgame is slowly making a decline after making headlines across the past month, this would no doubt serve as a way to reignite the excitement for the plans Marvel Studios has moving forward.

Spidey Brings Europe To Singapore

First and foremost, the showpiece affair for this event will be the Far From Home Exhibition at Changi Airport Terminal 3. The exhibition is split into two parts: the Spider-Man Europe Exhibition, which is located at the Departure Hall, Level 2; and the Spider-Man Trick Eye Exhibition, at Basement 2.

The London Bridge.

The Spider-Man Europe Exhibition will feature a selection of the latest suits used by Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in the movie, some of Peter Parker’s personal effects, as well as scaled-down versions of the London Bridge and the Rialto Bridge in Venice, both of which will be locations in the film.

The Trick Eye Exhibition will feature several locations from the film as well. Notably, there are more rooftops in this one than the one above, as they will give you chances to show off your best Spidey action poses for the ‘gram.

The Far From Home Exhibition will be open from May 31 to July 14, and is open from 10am – 11pm daily. Admission is free.

So You Want To Be A Wall-Crawler

Also at the Level 2 Departure Hall is the Spider-Man Adventure Playground.

For 20 minutes at a time (a 5-minute briefing followed by 15 minutes of play), your little ones can scurry across its mini web-like netting, suspension bridges and more, just like fledgeling Spider-People.

The timings for the Spider-Man Adventure Playground are as follows:

DateTime
June School Holidays (May 31 – June 30)12pm – 11pm
Fridays (July 5 & 12)6pm – 11pm
Saturdays & Sundays (July 6 – 7, July 13 – 14)12pm – 11pm
Monday, Youth Day (July 8)12pm – 11pm

Last entry is at 10.40pm on weekdays and 10.45pm on weekends and public holidays.

The Spider-Man Adventure Playground will require an activity pass, which can only be redeemed by spending a minimum of S$50 in a single same-day receipt within Changi Airport itself (S$80 for supermarkets, receipts from Jewel Changi are invalid).

One For The Daily Bugle

Not enough Spidey? Not to worry, as the webslinger himself will be present, in the flesh for a meet & greet for all the diehard fans out there.

The Spider-Man Meet & Greet will take place every Saturday and Sunday for the next three weeks, starting from June 1 – 2, June 8 – 9, and on June 15 – 16. There will be two sessions, at 2pm and 7pm respectively.

Again, you’ll need to produce a single same-day receipt of S$50 (S$80 for supermarkets) at retail outlets in Changi Airport (exclusive of receipts from Jewel Changi, unfortunately) to be able to participate. Additionally, this will be limited to the first 50 redemptions per session per day.

Aside from the Spider-Man attractions in Changi Airport, there will be additional goodies for you to grab.

Redeem Spider-Man: Far From Home drawstring bags

Firstly, there will be a limited-edition Spider-Man: Far From Home drawstring bag that you can redeem by spending a minimum of S$50 (S$80 for supermarkets, Jewel Changi receipts are invalid) in a single same-day receipt.

There are only 5,000 of these available, so grab ’em while they’re hot.

Redeem tickets to the premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home

Additionally, if you’re a Changi Rewards member, you can redeem a pair of tickets to the premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home at Shaw Jewel by spending a minimum of S$120 (S$150 for supermarkets) with Mastercard at the public areas across the four terminals at Changi Airport (again, Jewel Changi receipts are not counted).

This is limited to the first 1,500 redemptions only.

WIN tickets to the US VIP premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home!

But if catching the premiere at Jewel Changi isn’t enough for you, why not catch it at Hollywood, Los Angeles itself?

From now until June 7, you can stand a chance to win a pair of tickets to the US VIP premiere of Far From Home at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood, by spending a minimum of S$60 at the public areas of Terminals 1 – 4 in Changi Airport.

Spider-Man: Far From Home crawls to cinemas in Singapore on July 4.
