The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is already in the running for being lean and mean, and a newly added member to the family won’t be letting up on that impression. After unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge alongside its flagship devices during January’s Unpacked event in San Jose, the tech juggernaut has announced the full specifications and availability of the device, starting with a 5.8mm profile.
This puts it around 1.3 millimetres slimmer than the base S25 model, and almost three millimetres thinner than the Ultra (8.2mm). Apart from a 163-gram chassis (versus 162 grams), the handset shares several properties with the former, including a Snapdragon Elite 8 processor that touts a performance boost of 40 percent in NPU, 37 percent in CPU, and 30 percent in GPU compared to the previous generation.
Display-wise, the Galaxy S25 Slim sports a 6.7-inch QHD+ panel (3,200 x 1,800 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the brand’s signature Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology. The front camera comes in at 12 megapixels (MP), while the rear setup comprises a 12MP ultra-wide shooter and a 200MP camera — the same one equipped to the Ultra.

As with the other offerings in the lineup, users can expect the full suite of Galaxy AI features, from editing tools like Audio Eraser, which simplifies the removal of unwanted noise in videos by isolating sounds such as voices, music, wind, nature, crowd and background noises, and Drawing Assist to third-party app integrations via Now Brief and Now Bar.
The latest Google Gemini advancements will also be available, allowing them to see on their screen or in the world around them while simultaneously interacting with it in a live conversation with the new camera and screen sharing capabilities.

Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge are now open, with the base model (12GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM) priced at S$1,628. The 512GB iteration retails for S$1,808, and both will go on sale in Singapore from 30 May on the official online store, Samsung Shop App, Samsung Experience Stores, and through Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok. Three colour options are available for picks: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue.
Alongside a complimentary storage upgrade, customers who pre-order the device on the Samsung Online Store, Samsung Shop App and Samsung Experience Stores can enjoy the following promotions, running from now till 6 June:
