Jack Reacher has always been larger than life, both in stature and presence. That reputation extends to Reacher Season 3, which has officially become the most-watched returning season in Amazon Prime Video history.
According to Amazon’s internal data. (per The Hollywood Reporter), the latest season of the action thriller pulled in 54.6 million viewers worldwide in the first 19 days after its 20 February premiere. The number marks a slight 0.5% increase from Season 2 and solidifies Reacher as one of the streaming service’s most dominant franchises. More than half of the viewership came from outside the United States, with particularly strong numbers in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Brazil.
While streaming platforms often keep their viewership metrics opaque, Amazon’s figures highlight Reacher’s continued success as a cornerstone of Prime Video’s lineup. The 19-day measurement includes the release of the first five episodes, with the sixth premiering early Thursday. Nielsen’s U.S. viewing figures for the premiere week are expected on 20 March, providing additional insight into how the show performed domestically. However, based on Amazon’s data,
Reacher is currently outperforming other recent Prime Video hits, including Cross, which attracted 40 million viewers over a 20-day period, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2, which hit the same milestone in just 11 days. The only Prime Video shows to record higher numbers within a similar timeframe are Fallout and the first season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

Based on Lee Child’s Persuader, the third season follows Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher as he heads to Maine, where a local DEA agent pulls him into an investigation that unexpectedly reconnects him with an old enemy. The action-packed storyline continues to expand on the character’s nomadic journey, delivering the kind of gritty, high-stakes drama that has kept audiences engaged since the series debuted.
With its latest season topping streaming charts, the Reacher franchise remains a powerhouse for Amazon, proving that audiences still can’t get enough of Jack Reacher’s relentless pursuit of justice.
