The Razer Kraken Kitty became an instant cat-ch (pun intended) when it first launched, so it’s no surprise that the fan favourite headset has gotten a follow-up. The Kraken Kitty V2 Pro, which was unveiled at RazerCon 2022, will now offer more options to look even better while gaming, with interchangeable kitty, bear, and bunny ears available for users.
All included in the box, the ear designs feature a quick and easy swapping mechanism, along with the ability to react in real time. The device also supports Razer Chroma RGB, so you can customise your ear cup lighting as it reacts to emotes, alerts, and more.
Outside of aesthetics, it will feature a detachable Razer HyperClear cardioid microphone for crystal-clear voice capture, and Razer TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers with 7.1 surround sound for high-fidelity audio and more accuracy. A hybrid fabric and leatherette cushioning has been included as well to offer increased comfort and noise isolation.
The US$199 Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro will be available for preorder in Q4 2022, with local pricing yet to be announced. It joins other announcements at this year’s RazerCon, which includes a headset and pair of earbuds for the PlayStation 5, as well as the Razer Enki Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition gaming chair.
