Jeanne TanAfter teasing the collaboration with Sega back in March, Puma finally unveiled its new Sega x PUMA RS-0 Sonic the Hedgehog sneakers! They’re….a little hairy.
They’re definitely pretty trendy to look at, with gold shoelace rings, red accents and brightly coloured soles. At first glance, they’re definitely something you’d want to go fast in.

But the issue is with the suede on the shoes – firstly it’s kind of ghastly to look at, and secondly, it looks like it’d be horrible to maintain. We’re unsure why Puma went with this material. It definitely gives the shoes an old-school kind of vibe, but overall, we’re not sure whether it’s worth it, but that remains to be seen.
The sneakers will be released in June, but Puma has yet to give any other details about the exact date or the price.
You could call Jeanne a dabbler – anything she isn’t yet a fan of, she will be eventually. The list of things she’s into is only rivalled by the things she plans on getting into. Overanalysing makes everything fun.
