As the POCO experience continues to pair value with performance, the brand’s first Ultra model in its F-series of devices, the POCO F7 Ultra, is here to raise the bar. The F7 series, comprising the base F7 Pro and its more powerful Ultra sibling, carves out a path into the flagship space with upgraded hardware.
Where the standard model boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the F7 Ultra finds the extra punch in a Snapdragon Elite 8 and VisionBoost D7 combo — the latter tech being POCO’s first-ever dedicated graphics chip — alongside an Adreno 830 GPU.
The under-the-hood boost is accompanied by a 6.67-inch display offering a 3,200 x 1,400-pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, which is pretty standard fare. In play, the device proves to be an unexpected powerhouse, running Zenless Zone Zero, Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, and PUBG Mobile smoothly with minimal stutter and frame rate drops.

Between the Wild Boost mode and competent thermal management, gaming brings an enjoyable time, and the deal is sweetened by a highly competitive price tag of S$869 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The 16GB + 512GB model was used for the test, painting a picture of bang-for-the-buck quality at S$929. The phone is available in two colours: Yellow and Black.
