The sequel to the well-received first season of Peacemaker picks up in the aftermath of The Suicide Squad. Gunn, who has transitioned into the role of co-CEO at DC Studios, faces the challenging task of directing both Peacemaker and the first film of the DC Universe under his leadership, Superman, which is set for a July 2025 release.
