‘Oshi No Ko’ Season 2 Reveals New Trailer, Sets 3 July Release Date

Oshi No Ko is gearing up for its Season 2 premiere on 3 July with a new trailer, visuals, and a fan screening in Japan. The trailer has more of a fantasy feel to it, and this season will take on a show-within-a show format.

The main plot for this season revolves around 2.5D stageplay Tokyo Blade with the various characters starring in different roles. Kana Arima (Megumi Han) will play Tsurugi, Akane Kurokawa (Manaka Iwami) will play Sayahime, Aqua Hoshino (Takeo Ōtsuka) will play Touki, and Melt Narushima (Seiji Maeda) will play Kizami. Also joining the cast are Kōki Uchiyama (Soul Eater) as Taiki Himekawa and Yūsuke Kobayashi (Re:Zero) as Sakuya Kamoshida.

Aqua and Akane get new looks for the season, which were shown in a new visual. This time, new artist GEMN will headline Season 2’s opening soundtrack, making their debut a month before the season’s release. And for any fans headed to Tokyo. the Marunouchi Piccadilly theater will also host an advance screening of the first episode on 30 June.
