GeraldIn case you’ve missed out on the many other Star Wars shoe releases, Superga is the latest brand to leap into the fray. Judging by the response from previous Star Wars collaborations with Adidas and, more recently, Vans, these shoes might fly off the shelf in no time.
Choosing to focus on the original trilogy, we see Darth Vader, C-3PO, R2-D2 and classic Stormtrooper designs taking front and centre. After all, these guys appeal most to us fellow adult geeks.
Clad in gold and silver the C-3PO and R2-D2 shoes look awesome if you can pull off the look. Overall, they actually look pretty decent from the pictures and might be even better in real life. These designs would likely be more of a hit with the ladies judging from the responses I’ve seen amongst my friends.
When it comes to the Dark Lord of the Sith, he’s all about black and red and pretty much nothing else. The Stormtrooper design probably might be the most versatile and would be the hottest favourite for anyone looking out for a neutral colour to match their outfit.
While the images above look awesome, the actual product on the Superga store looks rather different especially at the toe area. We’ll see how they eventually look like when these Star Wars Superga shoes turn up on 10th November 2016 worldwide.
