The Long Night approaches. And with the threat of the White Walkers looming, it is paramount to supply one’s army with enough food to last the Great War. What better way to do so that these limited edition Game of Thrones-themed Oreo cookies?
That’s right, Nabisco has teamed up with the acclaimed HBO fantasy TV series to bring you some of that fantasy drama all packaged into that iconic cookie sandwich.
There are four different designs embossed onto the Oreo cookie itself, replacing the original “Oreo” design. These are the symbols of Houses Stark, Lannister and Targaryen, as well as the likeness of the Night King.
And as if that wasn’t impressive enough, the video you see above is a reenactment of the iconic title sequence for the show. This was done in collaboration with the folks responsible for that sequence, 360i and Elastic, using a whopping 2,750 Oreo cookies with stop-motion footage to do so!
These limited edition Oreos go on sale from April 8 onwards, while stocks last. Now you can show your loyalty to your favourite faction by twisting, licking and dunking these Oreos as you watch the final season of Game of Thrones.
Oreo is the latest food item to receive the Westeros treatment, with the likes of Mountain Dew, Diageo and Johnnie Walker also getting in on that fantasy action.
