NVIDIA’s “Big Ferocious” GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Is Here & Costs A Cool US$1,999

Announced in January, NVIDIA‘s latest Big Ferocious GPU (BFGPU), the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti will start arriving today from NVIDIA and top add-in card providers such as ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galax, Gigabyte, INNO3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac. Starting at a hefty US$1,999, extreme power doesn’t come cheap.

The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti features a record-breaking 10,752 CUDA cores, boasts 78 RT-TFLOPs, 40 Shader-TFLOPs and 320 Tensor-TFLOPs of power. It’s also packed with 24GB of the fastest 21Gbps GDDR6X memory.

According to NVIDIA, this makes it the world’s fastest graphics card, which enables gaming up to 60% faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and 55% faster than the TITAN RTX. Gamers that demand the most can enjoy max settings at 4K resolution with ray-tracing gameplay at the fastest speeds possible. It can of course also achieve 8K NVIDIA DLSS-accelerated gaming on displays that support 8K 60Hz via HDMI 2.1.

With recent cuts of up to 25% off RTX 30-Series graphics cards, perhaps GPUs are finally within reach of gamers this year, provided there are enough stocks to go around…
