Mark your calendars for March 13, 2020, as it’s the launch date of Nioh 2.
The sequel to Koei Tecmo‘s highly-praised deadly Japanese action-RPG is definitely looking far more visually-stunning and compelling than ever, with every new trailer that releases. From new yōkai (supernatural forces) enemies, to new weapons and a fully-customisable playable character, Nioh 2 certainly looks to top its predecessor in just about every aspect.
And if the release date is feeling a little too far away for you, fret not, as there will be a Beta Demo that will be available for download, from November 1 through November 10. In the demo itself, you can try out character customisation, as well as the new Switchglaive weapon, and go toe-to-toe with the new demonic bosses and monsters and, hell, even turn into one yourself.
Here’s another cool part — if you possess save data from the first Nioh, you’ll be able to port it over and customise your character’s appearance to that of William, which is a nice touch by Koei Tecmo.
By clearing the Beta Demo, you’ll be awarded the Mark of the Demon Slayer, a special DLC that can be claimed in the full game.
Also, in case you were wondering, here are the various editions for Nioh 2 that will be available for pre-order:

Additionally, if you’ve haven’t even caught up on the first game yet, now’s your best chance to, as Nioh will be free on PlayStation Plus on November 5.
