Nintendo has finally announced the release date for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 for Southeast Asian countries, with the console launching on 26 June 2025 in Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Coming in a little over two weeks from its 5 June release in the US, Europe, South Korea, Hong Kong and Japan, the console will land earlier than the previously stipulated July to September release window for SEA, with Nintendo Singapore’s website reflecting the updated launch date.

However, there is already a listing on Amazon.sg for the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle at S$769, and set to be released on 10 June.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will be released in Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines on 26 June 2025. On launch, fans can expect Nintendo’s major first-party launch title, Mario Kart World, alongside other third-party day-one releases like Sonic x Shadow Generations, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition and Hogwarts Legacy, as well as enhanced versions of Switch titles like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its 2023 sequel The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
