New content for Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima might be on the horizon as the studio has recently released a job listing looking for a Narrative Writer that has knowledge of and a desire to craft stories set in feudal Japan.
And guess what game by Sucker Punch is based in feudal Japan. That’s right, it’s Ghost of Tsushima.
Not much else is known about the project the newly hired Narrative Writer will be working on but given how the game is still very much in its prime, having just launched its Legends co-op multiplayer update. This new job opening could be for future DLCs or new story content, though there is also the possibility of a full-blown sequel being in the works, with how well the game did.
Considering how the PS5 is releasing soon, it is very much possible that Sucker Punch is already pre-planning for a Ghost of Tsushima sequel for the new next-gen console.
Of course, these are all still speculation and beyond the actual job posting, nothing else is confirmed by the studio thus far. Till then, players of Ghost of Tsushima can enjoy the newly released free co-op game mode whilst they wait for more updates.
