Who shot first, Han Solo or Greedo? That’s now up for you to decide with LEGO’s new massive Mos Eisley Cantina set.
First leaked just a few days ago, LEGO has finally released the Star Wars 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina Master Builder Series.
The set is based on the infamous poorly lit tavern on Tatooine and recreates the scene when Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker first met Han Solo and Chewbacca in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Being such an important scene in the film, it stands to reason that this LEGO set is no lightweight as well.
The set comes with 3187 pieces, to let you build not only the cantina and outbuildings but also two landspeeders and a dewback. What’s more, the set will also come with 21 minifigs for you to play around with, so not only will you be able to recreate the scene where Obi-Wan and Luke recruits Han Solo and Chewbacca, but also have Han Solo engage in a shootout with Greedo.
Other characters that you will get in the set includes Ponda Baba, Dr. Evazan, the droid-racist barman, Garindan the snitch, and the cantina band Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes.
According to Nerdist, the set will stand over 19cm tall, and 58cm deep when opened up. The set will also come with a removable roof to give you easy access to the different booths in the collection so that you can explore and play out stories according to your fancy.
With how big this Star Wars LEGO set is, it is no surprise that it will cost you quite a fair bit too. In fact, the set will be retailing for US$349.90 and will be available on 1 October 2020.
To make the deal even sweeter, it looks like there’s going to be a Yoda’s Lightsaber GWP (Gift With Purchase) when you purchase the set, while stocks last of course.
