The movie reunites director Lee Chung-hyeon with lead actress Jeon. They previously worked together in the 2020 movie The Call.
Ballerina shares the same name with a John Wick spin-off set for June 2024. However, the two films are unrelated.
Netflix’s Ballerina will premiere on 6 October 2023.
