Netflix Expands Korean Fare With More ‘Singles Inferno’, ‘Sweet Home’ & More

Netflix is doubling down on its commitment to Korean content with a dynamic slate for 2024, featuring a mix of returning favourites and fresh narratives. At the heart of this expansion is the announcement of Park Chan-wook’s debut Netflix project, Uprising, set to release at the year’s end, marking a significant addition to the streaming giant’s Korean offerings.

The 2024 lineup includes new seasons of acclaimed series like Gyeongseong Creature, Hellbound, and Sweet Home, alongside unscripted successes Physical: 100 and Single’s Inferno. Fans of Squid Game can also look forward to its second season, following the platform’s commitment to investing US$2.5 billion in Korean content over four years.
