Knives Out 3 is sharpening its cast roster as it adds Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, and Glenn Close to the cast, joining Andrew Scott (Ripley), Josh O’Connor (Challengers, The Crown), Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla, Civil War), and Daniel Craig (No Time to Die). Craig returns as detective Benoit Blanc, and it looks like he’s got his hands full with a new case.
Kunis has starred in Black Swan, and Luckiest Girl Alive, a mystery thriller film released in 2022. She’s no stranger to the mystery or psychological thriller genre, and Knives Out 3 will mark her first film in two years. Renner previously was part of the Mission: Impossible franchise before making his exit a few years back, and plays Avengers member Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Emmy-award winning actress Glenn Close will also star in the film, and has had previous roles in Damages and Hillbilly Elegy.
The film’s title was revealed as Wake Up Dead Man, which will see Benoit Blanc on his most dangerous escapade yet, with plot details yet to be revealed. Rian Johnson is back to write and direct the film, which will be his third. We’re excited to see where Wake Up Dead Man takes the Knives Out franchise, so stay tuned for more updates!
