Mena Massoud From Disney’s Aladdin Reportedly Cast As Star Wars Live-Action Ezra Bridger

Disney plans to add Mena Massoud into their live action Star War show roster, which includes the likes of The Mandalorian and Ahsoka.

Best known for his role in the hit film Aladdin in 2019, Massoud has received multiple nominations for a Teen Choice Award and National Film and TV Award.

Massoud has not entered an official agreement with Disney yet but him taking the role is currently in the talks. The role he takes on, Ezra Bridger, originates from Star Wars Rebels, where we follow his journey to become a Jedi. If Massoud does officially join the Star Wars universe, it will be the first time the character gets portrayed in live action.

Ever since the huge success of The Mandolorian as Star Wars TV’s first series on Disney+, as many as ten live-action shows are currently in development.

Be sure to sign up for Disney+ if you’re looking to stay up to date with all things Star Wars as the streaming service would be pivotal in bridging the gap before the next movie trilogy.
