How many time has The New Mutants movie been delayed again? Too many to count now, it seems. After what seems like forever, it seems that we might finally get to see the long-overdue film later this year.
Disney recently announced that the X-Men spinoff film will be released in theatres on 28 August, according to Deadline. Despite the company’s recent statement to release future films via its Disney+ streaming service, many will hope that this be the final time the troubled film by Josh Boone gets delayed.
However, this is with the assumption that most countries will lift their quarantines and reopen cinemas by August 2020. If that doesn’t happen, it wouldn’t be far off to anticipate yet another delay for The New Mutants.
The company also announced the new release date for the 20th Century Studios animated movie, Ron’s Gone Wrong, to be on 23 April 2021.
