Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Coming To PS4 Alongside PS5 Launch

Recent PlayStation 5 Showcase certainly lived up to expectations (or even exceeded them) as the not only the prices for Sony’s new console was announced, but also a sneak peek of several new games, and even more so for those that were previously announced in June, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

As it turns out, a recent PlayStation blog update details that the upcoming standalone title featuring Peter Parker’s protégé will not only be a launch title for the PS5 on 12 November for the US (19 November for the rest of the world), but it will also launch on the PlayStation 4 as well.

This is no doubt massive as not all fans of the original 2018 game might not be able to purchase a PS5 at launch right away, so being able to play it on the current console will be a great boon to many who are keen to witness the chronicles of Miles Morales unfold.

That said, owners of the PS4 copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will get a free upgrade to the PS5 when they eventually choose to move on. To quote another iconic Marvel character, we see this as an absolute win.

Aside from the standard edition which retails at US$49.99, the PS5 version of Miles Morales will feature an Ultimate Edition (US$69.99), which will include a voucher code for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered, so players can enjoy the original game at upscaled graphics on the shiny new console.
