Marvel Studios has excitedly lifted the curtain on their next television adventure with the release of the first official trailer for Echo, a spinoff featuring the standout character from the Hawkeye series, Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez.
The new show promises to shake up the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a TV-MA rating, signaling a pivot towards more adult-themed content, echoing the grittier edge of the earlier Marvel Netflix productions such as Daredevil and Jessica Jones.
The Echo trailer is a vivid showcase of Alaqua Cox reprising her role from Hawkeye, where she first appeared as the deaf gang leader with a vendetta against Clint Barton.
