Xiaomi has officially launched sales of its debut SUV, the Xiaomi YU7 during its launch event in Beijing, with prices starting at RMB 253,500. Engineered as a high-performance luxury vehicle, the YU7 is designed to push the boundaries of premium automotive standards by blending cutting-edge design, next-gen technology, refined driving dynamics, and top-tier safety into a bold statement of modern luxury.
Building on the positive reception of the Xiaomi SU7’s colour offerings, Xiaomi has equipped the YU7 with the most diverse colour selection in its segment, with nine finishes in total. The lineup includes returning colours like Basalt Gray, Lava Orange, Titanium Silver, and Emerald Green, alongside five new additions: Pearl White, Ocean Blue, DuskPurple, Shadow Teal, and Dawn Pink. These shades span a wide spectrum of aesthetics, from sporty to elegant.

Each colour is designed with advanced visual effects. Pearl White, for example, carries a bluish pearlescent glow under sunlight, offering a refined look. Whereas the oiher finishes use aluminum and pearl powder to create a sparkling metallic effect, with carefully engineered particle size and arrangement to deliver depth and dynamic texture.
Positioned as a high-performance luxury SUV, the YU7 incorporates the brand’s self-developed trio of electric technologies: electric motor, power battery, and motor control unit. At the heart of the entire lineup is the upgraded Xiaomi HyperEngine V6s Plus, delivering 22,000 rpm, 528 N·m of peak torque, and up to 288 kW of output power.

The flagship YU7 Max variant pushes performance even further, boasting 690 PS of horsepower, a top speed of 253 km/h, and 0–100 km/h acceleration in 3.23 seconds. This makes it the fastest SUV in its price segment under RMB 800,000.
On the inside, the Xiaomi YU7 features four distinct interior color schemes: Pine Gray, Coral Orange, Twilight Blue, and the new Ash Gray & Iris Purple Dual-Tone. These options are designed to complement the SUV’s nine exterior finishes, offering a wide range of styling combinations.

Apple users will also be happy to know that the YU7 brings enhanced integration for iPhone users, offering UWB remote unlocking, home screen and Control Center widgets, and the ability to assign the iPhone’s Action Button for lock/unlock functions. Users can also access real-time vehicle updates via the Alive Status feature and send navigation routes directly from their phone to the car. The Apple ecosystem support has also been upgraded. Apple CarPlay can now be used alongside in-car apps on the same screen and pinned as a desktop widget. The system also supports Apple Music streaming, vehicle controls via Apple Watch, and extended iPad use with the rear-seat tablet mount.
