Lenovo Singapore Opens S$1,149 Legion Go Gaming Handheld For Pre-Order

Gaming handheld devices are all the hype, and Lenovo certainly isn’t passing up the chance to dip its toes into a new market. The Lenovo Legion Go was announced last month as an alternative to other similar builds like the ROG Ally, serving as a hybrid between the Nintendo Switch and handheld gaming PCs.

Now, gaming enthusiasts in Singapore will have yet another option for on-the-go immersion. The console, priced at S$1,149, has arrived on local shores, and is available for pre-order with a slew of features in tow. Apart from a D-pad, a mouse wheel, ten programmable shoulder buttons, triggers, and grip buttons, its detachable gamepad also wields Hall Effect joysticks designed to prevent drifting issues.

Additionally, users can expect an 8.8-inch QHD+ IPS touchscreen display (2,560 x 1,600), an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme CPU and RDNA graphics card, and 16GB of RAM paired with three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. A microSD card slot, however, allows for up to 2TB of additional storage.

The Legion Go lists a 49.2Whr capacity, and promises the Battery Optimisation Support, Power Bypass Mode, and Super Rapid Charge Express features. As it houses Xbox Game Pass, Steam, Epic Games Store, Battle.net, and other platforms in a centralised hub, access to cloud gaming on the move has been made convenient.

For those who want to take things up a notch, the Lenovo Legion Glasses leverage on micro-OLED technology to deliver a large screen viewing experience that fits in the pocket. The pair of wearables retails for S$499, and like its handheld counterpart, is now available for pre-order.
