Running from 23 to 29 May 2022, the Lazada Grand Online Tech Show has opened its doors to the public at Plaza Singapura’s Level 1 Atrium, and will feature the latest products and from over 20 different brands.
Kicking things off is the Vivo X80 Pro flagship smartphone, which made its debut at the pop-up event with a special retail price of S$1,599 (U.P S$1,699) and two additional gifts worth S$327. Co-engineered with optics specialist Zeiss, the 219-gram device sports upgraded photography and videography prowess. The rear camera set-up comprises a 50MP Ultra-Sensing senor, a 48MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP Portrait lens, and an 8MP Periscope sensor, alongside features like a gimbal stabiliser and the Cinematic Video Bokeh mode.
The X80 Pro measures 164 x 75 x 9mm, and offers a 6.78-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display (3,200 x 1,440 resolution) that clocks a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, and boasts 12GB of ROM and 256GB of RAM. Other notable features include a 50W Wireless FlashCharge and 80W FlashCharge capability, as well as an enhanced fingerprint scanner that allows two fingerprints to be registered. Here’s the kicker: they don’t have to be tied to only one user, which means you can actually add another individual’s fingerprint to the list.
Apart from Vivo, visitors can also check out other participating brands, such as ASUS, Garmin, JBL, Lenovo, Logitech G, MSI, Razer, TP-Link, Seagate, and more. Shoppers can test out their products before making their purchase on the Lazada app, with an option to ship to their home. Depending on the selection of items, store pick-ups are available as well.
While the Lazada Grand Online Tech Show is a whole-day affair, there are specific timings to look out for. Shoppers can enjoy special on-site flash deals happening between 1 to 3pm and 7 to 9pm daily, and a chance to win prizes with a minimum spending of S$60 at the event. These include a PRISM+ Q55 Quantum Edition TV + Powerhouse Home Karaoke System Jukebox (worth S$2,998), and an ErgoTune Supreme ergonomic chair with an EverDesk+ Max adjustable standing table (worth S$2,287).
The Logitech G X Gran Turismo 7 gaming challenge presents another shot for individuals to walk away with even more loot. Step on the brakes, hop onto the fast lane, and clock the fastest lap time among the other competitors to win prizes by Logitech.
Those who purchase eligible products from the showcase, meanwhile, will be able to redeem a free morning coffee or tea from Toast Box, or a lunchtime voucher from selected food and beverage sellers at Plaza Singapura.
