Hunt In Style With The Seiko x Monster Hunter Limited Edition Watches

In celebration of Monster Hunter’s 15th anniversary, Seiko has just announced its collaboration with Capcom’s fantasy role-playing game, and it’s bringing three watches based on fan-favourite monsters: Zinogre, Rathalos, and Nergigante

The Seiko x Monster Hunter timepieces are limited to only 1,000 pieces per design, and each will set you back by 50,000 yen (approximately S$637.47).

Each watch will come with a Kongari Meat motif at the 1 o’clock position, perhaps serving as a reminder for you to go have lunch and recover some of your own HP.

The three monsters will be etched on the back of their respective watches, with a serial number running from 1 to 1,000 below it, to show just how premium the watches are.

A crucial part of playing Monster Hunter is wearing the various armour you made from the monsters you have slain and the Seiko x Monster Hunter watches carry that notion over to real life with their detachable watch pads. According to Seiko, the leather watch pads were made with the monsters in mind so wearing a Zinogre watch pad will feel as if you are wearing equipment made of Zinogre’s leather.

To top it all off, the watches will come in a premium box printed with the Monster Hunter 15th anniversary logo, with a special ‘brushed’ material used in the inner fabric to make it feel extra luxurious.

The Seiko x Monster Hunter watches are scheduled to go on sale from October 25, 2019 and will be sold for 50,000 yen each, with only 1,000 pieces each. The sale for each watch will end as soon as it runs out of stock.
