Honor Launches Slimmest Foldable Smartphone, Magic V2, Globally From S$1,999

For the first time outside China, Honor held its launch for the Honor Magic V2 in Singapore to much fanfare, debuting the slimmest foldable smartphone in the market. The competition is heating up, as Honor joins big players Apple and Samsung in the smartphone race.

The HONOR Magic V2 sets a new weight record for foldable smartphones at 231g, and is only 9.9mm in thickness when folded, a first for any foldable smartphone in the market. It also features a Super-light Titanium Hinge, which perfectly balances weight and strength to withstand over 400,000 folds, with a projected lifespan of 10 years. The foldable smartphone will be priced from S$1,999 in Singapore and is available in three colours, purple, a PU leather black design, and classic black.

Boasting an impressive OLED LTPO display with support for 1.07 billion colours, 3840Hz PWM Dimming technology, and even a night display mode, the foldable smartphone enables users to use their phone anywhere without straining their eyes.

The HONOR Magic V2 is powered by MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13, delivering a smooth and feature-rich user experience tailored to various usage scenarios, allowing users even to open two applications at a time for maximum productivity.

Pre-orders are open from 17-24 January, with the HONOR Magic V2 officially being retailed in stores from 25 January 2024.
