We’re within touching distance of the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red’s sprawling new first-person RPG set in the dark future is looking extremely promising from our experience in our review, and we’re excited for you to finally step into Night City.
To whet your appetites a little, we’ve recorded over an hour’s worth of gameplay across two videos to showcase just how the game looks on an ultrawide (21:9) monitor. The first video showcases one of the missions in Cyberpunk 2077, with epic, balls-to-the-walls set pieces and action, while the other is a more straightforward free-roam video, where we take you for a quick tour across Night City on foot and on a bike.

We played the game on a 2019 Aftershock Forge 15 Pro gaming laptop, hooked up to a PRISM+ X290 Ultrawide Curved Gaming Monitor. Here are the brief specs on the machine that we used:
- Processor: Intel Core i7-9750H Processor (6 cores, up to 4.5GHz)
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
- Memory: 16GB GDDR4 RAM, 2,666MHz (Dual Channel)
- Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD
In any case, seeing Night City in all its neon-soaked glory is truly amazing on an ultrawide monitor, and we strongly recommend that you get one to enhance your Cyberpunk 2077 experience.

Marion has a serious RPG addiction. Sometimes it bleeds into real life; he forgets to sleep because he thinks he has a Witcher’s body clock. Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
