First announced in October 2020, AMD has finally launched its Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards. It is powered by the groundbreaking AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture and features tons of performance-enhancing features to give gamers the ultimate gaming experience.
The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT’s RDNA 2 Gaming Architecture is engineered to offer numerous benefits to gamers, including a boost in performance-per-watt as compared to the first-generation RDNA architecture and twice the overall performance.
It also comes with Smart Access Memory (SAM), an AMD exclusive feature of systems that gives AMD Ryzen processors greater access to the high-speed GDDR6 graphics memory to help speed up CPU processing and improve gaming performance.
4K and 1440p gaming will also be possible on the Radeon RX 6900 XT with the AMD Infinity Cache which helps to dramatically reduce latency and power consumption, enabling the graphics card to deliver overall better gaming performance as compared to past designs.
The graphics card is also optimised to deliver real-time lighting, shadow, and reflection realism with its high performance, fixed function Ray Accelerator engine and DirectX Raytracing.
The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT is currently available in stores worldwide for US$999.
